    Xbox One shuts down immediately after starting game


    Purchased Xbox One 4 months ago, about week or two ago it has started to shut down right after stating a game. When I restart it is fine. Very annoying for a new console. I have seen this in other threads as a common issue but have not been able to find
    a fix shown any those same threads.

    My Zune doesn't start

    After starting Zune on my PC with Windows 8 it immediately shuts down.

    I re-installed Zune several times but the problem is sill here.

    Xbox immediately shuts down after boot

    I already tried everything(except another PSU). After unplugging the xbox for a while it did start normally, but it died on me after about 5 minutes. Fortunately it's still within warranty, so i'm sending it in for repairs.

    Hi crunchy doom,

    If you could test with another power supply that would definitely help, and possibly save you some money if your console is out of warranty. Make sure that you're not plugged into a power strip, also try unplugging the device for about 5 minutes, and then
    plugging it back in to see if it starts working again. If you are still facing issues, and you cannot in any way test with another Power Supply then, I would suggest doing a repair here.

    and Xbox has not shut down to 360 servers, this is a rumor started by people who don't understand that they're only shutting down the ability to purchase games, not use or access the digital ones you own after July

    Instead of raging at the machine, I'd suggest you try checking your power outlets to see whether supply has been interrupted and/or checking the house for RATS - in case one has chewed through your cabling. That's the more likely culprit as no vendor sells
    a marketable product that has been BUILT TO FAIL.
    trust me I don't have RATS and my outlets are fine. My tv is hooked up to the same outlet as the Xbox and it never randomly shuts down. And after the Xbox shuts down it will start up for half a second and then immediately shut down.
