Xbox One shows blue screen on live tv (cisco 4742hdc box)

My Xbox is reading my cable box, but when i try to watch cable tv on it all i get is a blank blue screen. Anyone know how to fix this?

Cisco 4742HDC not compatible

I have a Cisco 4742HDC with Cox and it works fine except any time i change channels through oneguide it brings up a show details window on the cable box that takes up most of the screen. It can only be closed by using the cable boxes remote.

No HD Channels (Brighthouse Cisco Box)

Hey everybody, Everything is working great on my xbox, but the HD channels aren't showing up. I've gone through the setup to show HD and SD channels. Still no luck...Cable box is Cisco 4742HDC. Examples of HD channels: 1145, 1129, 1135. My Xbox only shows
up to channel 98. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I just started having this same issue. It had been working properly for one year. But suddenly the TV signal from my Comcast cable box began to cut in and out, and eventually just displays a blue screen (though someitmes it flashes to "Your TV signal
was lost" then flashes back to blue).

At first I thought it was my cable box, so I replaced that. Then I replaced the HDMI cable.

Everything else on the XBOX works fine. And if I connect my cable box direct to my TV, it works fine. So it must be with the XBOX One itself.

...and my warranty expired. Great.

I had the same problem with the info box coming up whenever I changed channels on Cisco 4742HDC. Setting code 0877 fixed it for me! Thanks!

"0877" worked perfectly with my COX Cisco 4742HDC

I was also having the details window show up on channel changes.

Mine was set on 1877 with the same issue. I tried changing the device to look at the other codes you suggested but all it does is change the model name and no longer shows the codeset in parentheses. I have tried Cisco Explorer 4700 and 4742hdc as well as
cox 4742hdc.
