Discus and support Xbox One Screenshots won't save. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Why can I not Save my Captures.     Xbox One Screenshots won't save.


    Why can I not Save my Captures. I created a jersey on NBA 2k16 and want to save it for when I start my real career, but it just gives me an error. Please Fix!

    Here's the error message:

    Capture Not Saved

    Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. Please Try again.

    Upload Studio clips will not share

    It won't allow me to share my screenshots either. Everytime I attempt to save a screenshot it won't save.

    Same here. I have Xbox gold but some of my videos and screenshots won't save. If I can't save, I can't share.

    Nope, same issues here, cant save my screenshots.. Nice to have a feature that works so that you can share stuff with your friends.. >.>

    I guess you have to have Gold, to be able to save your pictures, on your xbox, that you paid for... Pretty stupid it will delete my pictures on my Xone if I don't pay money for gold.

    Things like this make me wish I went with a PS4.

    When I complained to the guy I talked to on Xbox Support, he was surprised about this. But he said hadn't heard other complaints about not being able to save your screenshots without gold, so it probably wouldn't get changed unless more people were upset.

    He mentioned to post on Xbox Feedback, to try to get it changed:

    Upload Studio clips will not share

    It won't allow me to share my screenshots either. Everytime I attempt to save a screenshot it won't save.

    Sharing/Screenshots

    Hello nnooggoodd,

    To take a Screenshot:

    1. While in game double tap the Xbox Button

    2. When the home screen appears press Y

    Note: if you do not get the option to take a screenshot after double tapping the xbox button you may need to reinstall Game DVR and/or your profile.

    To save a Screenshot:

    1. Open the Game DVR app

    2. With the screenshot you with to save/share press the menu button and select save/share from the menu

    Note: After taking a screenshot there is a delay before the screenshot can be saved or shared. During this time you will not see these options available.

    I have a similar problem too, I can take screenshots, I can record clips, but my problem is that I cannot save my captures from before I got Xbox Gold. Clips I can save if I edit them in Upload Studios and record clips now but I cannot save the old ones
    through Game DVR. Screenshots I can only save if I took them after getting XBox Gold not the ones I took before. Is this a bug?
