XBox One: Screen turns black / loses sound for 1-2 seconds while Game / Video continues ...

There is still no Solution!

 

I'm having the same problem with a Philips 32PFL5605H/12. I've tried everything and still happens, every hour the screen turns black 2/3 seconds and I get upset. Please MS don't leave us alone

 

Update the Firmware of your Setup XB and TV!! Than please do the following Instructions:

Spoke with the Official Staff about this, they'd like you to try a few things and report back:

This appears to be an isolated HDMI connectivity issue. Please ask the user to try the following:

A)

1. Double check HDMI connections for loose cables.

B)

1. Try a different HDMI cable

C)

1. Try a different input on the display

D)

1. Power off the console 5sec, Power Button

2. Unplug AC power from the back of the console

3. Wait 30+ seconds

4. Plug back in AC power

5. Power on the console

Please let me know here or via PM what you find. And Tell me your Current OS Firmare from XB1 (Settings->System->Console Info)

I cannot thank you enough for your availibility, I've not found the solution yet but now I've tried your

suggestions about how to fix this issue and will have some result by an hour or two.

As soon as I have the same problem I'll write here.

My Xbox 1 OS is 6.2.11274.0

 

@gianbattista24: is your Problem solved? or has it only raised up the "repeat-time" to an hour or two?

 

I'm having a similar issue to this, my box boots through the green animation screen, then goes to a black screen, HDMI cables and TV are fine, not sure what is causing the issue.

I have the same issue that you gus have already said, my tv is Philips 42PFL8300/T3, the screen goes black then after a couple seconds is back again. It gave me a Game Over when i was playng Pinball FX2 becouse when the screen went black i lost my last
ball. That thing is ridiculus and should be fixed bay now. Thank you guys.

 

hi i am having problems with months too my husband gave my kids gift last january and when we updated it xbox goes black and we do not have anyway to look for a service centre here in the philippines instead of giving a surprise i was surprised how sad
it made my kids felts and angered about not being able to play with it
