    We have three identical family member accounts that we control through the links on the "Family" section of our Microsoft account:

    Activity | Screen time | App and game limits

    We had been using these featured for over two years when one of the accounts started having an issue with the "Screen Time" feature - no matter what "time of day" or overall "number of hours" we set, the available time on the XBox shows as "until 12:00 AM".

    I have gone through all settings of the account itself, as well as from the POV of the "master" account and I see NO DIFFERENCES between the three accounts, yet "Screen Time" works fine on two, but not on the third.

    I tried contacting Microsoft Support, but their help was nothing more than reading their "FAQs" for me - the representative did not have access to a back end where he'd be able to verify settings, check xbox responses, etc. Completely useless!

    I am convinced that this is a bug - perhaps a use case that's difficult to trace down, but nonetheless it's been around for years (just search these forums) and it's frustrating how a well-intended and needed feature becomes a burden when poorly executed and managed.

    Other than venting here in hopes that actual MS engineers will address the underlying issue, I am asking for some help "resetting" that one account to where "Scren Time" works again. Thank you

    First check the enforcement site to verify that all suspensions are really over: https://enforcement.xbox.com/

    If all suspensions are expired, and you are therefore clear, try the following steps:

    1. Remove your account from the Xbox.
    2. Give your Xbox a power cycle.
    3. Add your account back into the Xbox.
    4. Attempt to use the social features now.
    It didn't work for me.
    OhioState2021 there is an issue I have heard of with the enforcement site not showing additional or extended suspensions the only way to find out if your suspension was extended is to call support by phone and they can tell you if you have one and when
    it will end but can not tell you why.
