Xbox one screen edges cut off

I have a 50inch panasonic vierra hdtv and spent an hour messing around with the screen settings and nothing I can find makes the screen fit on my Xbox one s. If I’m playing Far Cry 5 my health bar is on the bottom
left of the screen and i cant see any of that important info. It makes it difficult when you can’t see whats happening there. I dont have an overscan option that i can find. What am I missing?

Many games have individual screen set up options when you first play them, perhaps have a look through the options menu in-game?

On your tv you should have the options to change the aspect ratio of the picture for example you can have it in 16:9,auto,4:3 etc.Is the an option to put the picture onto "full screen"?

That's what I have to do with my tv although mine is a different make that's what worked for me.

Have you tried going into your xbox setting? Or go inti the individual game settings and re-scale the screen.

There’s a format button and one of the formats is close. One of the formats is 4:3 but no 16:9. I was hoping there was a way to manually adjust it to fit the screen or a fit to screen button.
