Xbox One says I need Gold to play online when I already have it

For the last few weeks, both my sister and I have been taken to a screen that says something along the lines of "Gold is required to play online"(or to an advertisement page for Gold) whenever we try to play any multiplayer games. However, we've already
paid for Gold several months ago, and we're covered until March of 2019. I've checked my Microsoft account, and it says I do not have Gold, though it does say that we still have it on my sister's account - but we both still can't access the features. I've
tried everything I can think of to fix the issue. I've tried resetting my console, removing and then readding my account to our Xbox, switching games, etc...but nothing seems to work. I saw that there were some issues with some of the Xbox services over that
last week, so we decided to wait it out and see if things would return to normal. Everything seems to be working now on Xbox's side, though, and we still encounter the "Gold is required to play online"/Gold advertisement screen.

It's beginning to get frustrating as we haven't been able to play anything for a while, and we haven't had any luck with solutions that have worked for other people. We would both like to not have our money go to waste. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i have an xbox 360 live account and i just bought an xbox one and it says i still have an xbox gold acount but i cant play online cause it says i need to have gold so i tried to put in a code for 2 weeks but then it says i already have gold please help i
want to play online

 

It says I need xbox gold when I have it already

You still show as silver account only. So looks like something may have gone wrong.

First double check
http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

• Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
  
• Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

• Redownload your profile
