Xbox One saying out of warranty when it hasn't been a year

Thanks for replying with your question. If the console was sold before you bought and returned. The warranty activates when it was purchased. So it is very possible you bought a console that was returned. As Leo stated you need to request a call from support
and they will assist you further. You will need your proof of purchase. As there is nothing more that we are able to do I will be locking this thread.

Depending on where Amazon got it from that could play a part as well. If you've had it since October and are just registering it now that could also be an issue.

I purchased the console new through Amazon on october 8th. I just looked at my order history. Why would a new console i i purchad on october 8th be out of warranty already if the warranty is 1 year from purchase?

One if its an amazon reseller rather then amaOn itself then it may not have been new

You can check via the order if its sold by amazon then yes you can use the receipt hut if its i third party you must take it up with them
