    xbox one s wont update and fails to factory reset


    my xbox one s fails to complete its update and gets stuck at the applying stage at 66% .when I try to factory reset it just starts applying from 40% again and gets stuck at 66% again and shows error code e200.

    I have done the osu 1 updates followed all the instructions and it has still failed. I changed my hard drive partitioned it correctly followed the instructions but still failed .

    I am an Xbox repairman in Uganda and I need your help please help me many customers come in with problem but I am not able to help them.

    My Xbox has been taking around 10 minutes to get to the green screen and then another 50 to take me to my dash board and then I can’t even play any games

    which xbox is it, if xbox one or one s then could be the hdd is corrupted or failing, full factory reset might be needed again or repair.

    Go to your Xbox console settings then check your timezone and make sure it matches the timezone your in, then re-run the update and you should be good to go. That error code is related to the timezone.

    You may want to try the OSUDT to get your console back working. You will find the necessary steps and information right here:

    support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

    Please use the latest OSUDT 2 files in the list.

    If that doesn't fix your issue please come back for further assistance.

    Please check also your router of there is a MAC adress filter configured and if so please disable it.
