    Xbox One S Won't Load Startup Screen


    So I've had my S for a little under a year now, and this is the first time I've had this problem. Both my television and console are able to load fine, only the Xbox forces itself off after about 30 seconds. I thought this was my HDMI cable at first -
    seeing as how the TV can't get a signal - but again, the console will automatically turn itself off without loading so much as the Xbox bootup screen. I've done everything Microsoft's help has offered, but nothing has worked. My controller is also unable to
    connect to the console, so I'm guessing its probably having issues with the initial startup, but I can't be sure.

    My Xbox will turn on fine, the problem is that it stays on for about 30 seconds and turns itself off. However, my television doesn't receive a connection. I checked the TV already and it's fine, along with the HDMI. I'll happily send a video if possible.

    Hi Eric,

    Even I am facing the same issue only difference is my X Box One S turns off in 3-5 seconds. I tried the above solution and it didn't work for me. Also, both my HDMI and power cable are working well(tested them with my friends X Box).

    And when I am trying to place a service order I am getting an error please help.

    Thank you for replying back and giving us some more details about the issue. It would seem that the console may have an issue with it's own HDMI port and may have to be serviced. if your console is still under the year warranty and you would like to
    service the console you may wish to try the
    Devices Website     or you may also want to try to
    Contact Xbox Support     for further assistance.

    Try this:

    • Log into Support.Xbox.com
    • Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
    • Step 1: Click on Ask a Question
    • Step 2 : Select your Product
    • Step 3 : Select your Issue
      • Select – Call me back
