    Xbox One (S) won't finish installing a game (stops at 52%, won't install any further)


    I recently upgraded to the Xbox One S, and had to re-install all my stuff. Everything installed fine, until I got to GTA 5. The install goes very fast, up until 52% (21.88 GB out of 42.44 GB), and the installation stops, and it won't install any further.
    I own the hard copy of GTA 5, have tried canceling the install and re-trying,
    I've tried the help page on games not installing at 0%,     and nothing works. Anyone know how I can fix this?

    Thanks for your help. We reset and now it won't install or update. Keeps coning up with "installation stopped". Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

    My game isn’t downloading and I tried all of the trouble shooting methods I found online.

    Xbox one console sucks. Won't install games from discs. Installation stops half-way through the process.

    Yep, I’ve bought a new Xbox One S instead of old one for my 4K-tv and most of the apps won't install. Stops right at the beginning. Reset didn’t help.
