    Xbox One S will beep, and flash white, but won't turn on


    After a storm and a power outage, my xbox won't turn on. When I press the xbox symbol, it will flash and beep, but it won't turn on; it also beeps when I press the eject button. I can kinda hear a click coming from the inside of the xbox after I attempt to turn in on. I've tried unplugging it, pressing/holding the xbox button then plugging it back in, repeatedly tapping the xbox button, repeatedly tapping the eject button - nothing is working. The xbox wasn't turned on at the time of the power outage, but it was plugged into a power board. Is there anything I can do or does it need to repaired?

    Hello LazyFarmer, you have already tested the console in another outlet even without being connected to a TV by hdmi cable, if you have tried and it keeps not connecting the ideal would be to send it for warranty.

    Hi there,

    May be worth trying the following steps to reset the xbox s video settings.

    1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.
      DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.

    - Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button to hear a beep to turn on the console. - You will hear a beep immediately and a second beep 10 seconds later.

    - The power light will flash before the second beep.

    - Do not release until the second triggering beep.

    Observation. If you have an Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, you will need to keep both the Xbox button and the Link button, as the console does not have an Eject button.
