    I am receiving the same error. There was a problem with the update. You need this update to use your console. Error Code: 0x88050033 0x00000000 0x00000201

    I have checked my network connection. It is fine. I also have two other Xbox One's in the house without any problems. I attempted to shutdown, restart and hard boot, but I still get the same error. Please advise of a resolution as soon as possible.

    I did not have an option to do a manual update.

    Estuve analizando otras fuentes y esto esta ocurriendo en todas partes, ya que el servicio de xbox live esta fallando. al momento de encender la consola sucede lo mismo que conmigo, y dicen que están trabajando para resolver ese problema de inicio o actualización
    de xbox.

    I was analyzing other sources and this is happening everywhere, since the xbox live service is failing. At the moment of turning on the console the same thing happens with me, and they say that they

    go to your settings.. click on System/updates&downloads/ and unclick "keep my console up to date"

    that will fix it

    Causing my xbox to freeze. Can't shut it down can't do anything. If they fried our boxes I want a replacement and 1yr free of xbox live. Been a member for well over 10 years you guys are starting to act like ea games. You can't even call support because
    they took the number down and 4my xbox don't even work ffs get your sht together. And the mods here are power hungry. I have 1st amendment rights so you delete my post. Your a American based company I suggest you understand what our rights are.

    I'm having the same error codes. Even did a cycle shutdown by holding the power button for 5 seconds and unplugged for 30 seconds. It resolved for a while but soon as I went back to the home page from a game it happened again.

    Skip and stay offline

    Once in the dash board, connect to live. It worked for me and I'm currently watching hulu.
