Xbox one s to Xbox s all digital and Loading games

Going from a Xbox one s to a Xbox s that is all digital. My daughter just got the new console and it loaded all games but two of the games she can’t play cause it is asking her to buy the game again. If she buys the game will everything she had on it be saved as in levels and such??

    :)

    Xbox One Series S - I'm confused

You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,

I hope this clears things up for you.

Does having a game disk in XboxX allow me to play the digital version on XboxS on my home network?

no. I believe you still need to get the digital version of the game if you're referring to Xbox series S or all digital Xbox one S

Is my xbox from the series one or s

There is no One is series consoles

Xbox one games are not listed by x or s

They are all xbox one games

Series consoles are xbox series s or x that's it

Digital or disk thata all the options you get

    Compatibility

You keep saying you have an Xbox S, but is that an Xbox One S or an Xbox Series S? The All Digital is typically a One S which wouldn't be compatible.

    xbox one sereis s

Fyi the xbox series s/x has no one in it

This is to reduce the confusion between series s/x and one when it comes to.compatibility

Only the xbox one s all digital is the only xbox one that isn't compatible with discs

However there is no limitation as far as xbox one other then the digital only console as far as xbox one games goes

Vs the series x /s they are backward with xbox one and with the series s limitation as far as discs goes
