Xbox One S "There was a problem with the update" Nothing works

I'm not exactly sure where to post this as I'm not that adept at using the Xbox Forums. Anyway, for the past few months I've been gone for awhile and throughout the time that I was gone my Xbox One S did not have a network connection. When I came back and
reconnected my Xbox there was a system update, as expected, and I started downloading it. I don't have the best speeds so it was going to take a very long time which I was completely fine with, I've done it before and I'll do it again. However, when the update
reached one hundred percent completion instead of restarting and allowing me to resume use of the system it stated that there was a problem with the update and that said update was needed in order to use the console.

When this first happened I didn't want to wait anymore and I was ready to play some games so I chose to skip and go offline, this seems to have been a serious mistake as after I did this it claims that every game I own and have downloaded onto it have not
finished installing. I've already tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the games, but the problem is that the system won't even let me do that either. I did a hard reset on the system and even unplugged it to see if that would work and it still didn't
so I started the update again and waited for it to complete, only for it to do exactly what it did before again.

I attempted to check my network connection a few times but every time that I press "Go Online" it immediately takes me back to the "New update" screen. I tried this a few more times before I started trying to hard reset again, still nothing. I've searched
all over the internet for someone with the same problem as me and I can't find anything. Hopefully, I can find my answer here as this is almost my last option.

Just bought a new xbox one s and there is a problem with the update and it keeps sending me an error code

 

There's a problem with the update

I don't know if anyone has had the same problem but a few days ago I wanted to play Titanfall and it required an update but "there's a problem with the update" black screen popped up and I followed all the steps necessary and it still would not update. Well
this is fixed with simply reinstalling the game thank god it's only 20gbs but you must first disconnect your network then uninstall it then re-install it I wait till there is some percentage then reconnect your network then you should be fine.
