    Xbox one s suck on 640x480


    Xbox one s suck on 640x480, 4k TV, everything was fine yesterday turned it on today and have a miniature picture and when I go into settings it's telling me my 4k TV doesn't support 4k, help please!?!?!?

    xbox one video defaults to 640x480

    Hi, I have my xbox one s hooked up to a 4k tv. sometimes i dont want to turn on the tv and do game streaming. when i do, the console reverts to 640x480 and i cant change it. please fix.

    I have the same problem. Following the steps mentioned in help section didnt change anything. Mine is a brand new xbox one S. After a couple of days its just stuck at 640x480.

    Hey there SynisterBanshee.

    Let's have you start out by resetting your display settings by power the Xbox One off completely (hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off completely). Once your Xbox One shuts off completely, hold down the power button and the eject button
    until you hear a second beep. From there you should be able to set the correct display.

    If you're still having issues, try plugging into a different HDMI outlet on your TV and testing a different HDMI cable if that doesn't work. Keep us looped in with how it goes Xbox one s suck on 640x480 :)

    There are a few others I tried from non-microsoft forums but they just repeat the same troubleshooting suggestions from above.
