Xbox one S Stuck in Always ON Mode

For the last two updates, my xbox seems to always be in always on power mode, even though I have it set for powersaving. It does not matter how I have it set recently. Whewnever I turn it on, it always starts at the dashboard.

When powering it off, the xbox goes to sleep, but both the external hard drive and the HDMI input TV indicator stay on. When I turn the xbox on, I do not see the splash screen...it joes instantaneously to the desktop.

I have to physically unplug the xbox from the power plug, or hold the xbox button for 109 sec to get it to shut off.

This has been submitted via console support as well.

Why my Xbox stuck in safe mode for

Hello, Jboogie W. I'm Arturo, a community user like you, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

However, I find it appropriate to ask some questions:

    — Do you mean that your Xbox is stuck in low resolution mode, or is your Xbox stuck in the troubleshooting menu?
I appreciate it if you could share a picture of the screen your Xbox is stuck.

    — What Xbox console is the one you have, Xbox One, One S, Series S or Series X?

    — Is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?

    — What potential solutions have you tried to fix this issue?
    Please describe each one.

I'll look forward to hearing your answers.

    Regards,

    Arturo.

Personally I have always stuck with turtle beach and I have found that some of the more cheaper ones are just as good quality in sound and Mic detection as the really expensive ones.
