Xbox one S Start Up fault

Hi

I have an Xbox One S and it was showing Erroe E102 code.

I have tried resetting from the screen a and a full factory reset but it's is still showing the fault.

I have downloaded the offline update and put it on a USB. Following the guidance it then goes to the troubleshoot page.

Then when I plug the USB in, the Xbox is not recognising or acknowledging the USB.

Any other suggestions on how to do an offline update or reset the Xbox to get it to work?

Hello RynoFitz, generally errors 101, 102 etc are related to faulty clusters on your HD, ie the system cannot be installed and no information recorded on the HD.

If your consoles are under warranty, you can send it to Microsoft if it's not the one with the paid repair service for One S.

You access the site above and register a new device using the serial number. you find behind your console.

Then in MORE DETAILS, look to request repair, Start Online Service.

To mail it to Microsoft.

Hi Ruben, thanks for your response.

I followed the power supply reset procedure and it hasnt resolved my issue.

Any more help/advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

do you have a friend with the same model xbox so you can try their power brick and also your power brick on their xbox? so try and see if its the power brick or console itself with the issue?

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue with the console shutting itself off, have you tried to
Reset the Power Supply Unit? If not, I would suggest following the steps in the support article provided to try and resolve
the issue. Once you've gone through the support article it should provide you with a solution for the issue or at least explain what might be wrong with the console.

Hey there! Sorry to hear about this issue! I just had a similar issue. Have you tried booting your xbox in safe mode? After turning off your xbox, unplugging for 30 seconds to 2 minutes: next hold the power on button and the controller SYNC button together
for about 5 to 10 seconds. It'll make a chime again. When this happens your xbox will boot in a LOW-res safe mode. From here you have options to restore or reset (with or without deleting all files). This has helped me in the past. Until this last time.
I had to send it to xbox. My xbox is coming back home to me today.

One the one x to reboot in safe mode, its power button and DISC EJECT button for 10 seconds. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask anymore questions. Ill try and help you along the way.
