    Xbox One S Sound prob


    Sorry for the length of time, as I decided to go stay in the hospital for a while. However, back to the problem at hand, I have the volume set to the lowest it can be without my losing finite sounds (important when playing Blackout, lol) I have the annoying
    problem of having a party chat volume that screams in my ear and a game volume maxed out, so it can be heard correctly. But that brings up the next issue which I posted above about the sound cutting out. there can't be any interference as I have eliminated
    any electronic that could cause such a problem. the cord is intact as its new, the controller is also new. Im out of ideas and patience running very low with the Astro's.....

    Hi there,

    Do you have a USB cable for the controller and does your headset have an adapter with it or does it connect via 3.5mm? I recommend downloading the most recent controller firmware update while connected to the console via USB and have the headset plugged
    into the controller. Open up your Xbox Accessories app then select the 3 dots option below Configure. Select Firmware version and then Update now. You can download the update even if the controller is up to date.

    If that doesn't help you may need to try a soft factory reset on the operating system:

    Unfortunately that page will not help as it is not a windows xbox one headset there's a Plantronics rig pro 500. I appreciate it though

    Hello!

    Have you tried turning down the headset volume in the volume mixer? My headphones use to cut out as well, turning the volume down solved the issue. If the headset only cuts out in one game, maybe try to turn down the volume in said game. If this doesn't work

    Yes I have turned off ATMOS and then tried Sonic and then tried uncompressed, I've changed volume setting in both system, game, and on hardware..... to no avail.

    Do you still experience interruptions when the controller is wired to your console? There could possibly be wireless interference involved.
