Xbox one S shutting down unexpectedly

Just got a brand new Xbox one, fresh out of the box plugged it in did all the set up procedures spent a little time downloading the content for Call of Duty WWII then my Xbox shut off on me. The Xbox was pretty hott, then I turned it on again an hour later
after unplugging and letting it cool down and it automatically turned off within 30 minutes again and wasn’t even that hott. I tried waiting then turning it on again and the same thing keeps happening. It’s in a well ventilated space. What’s my problem here.
Ide like to use my Xbox lol

I have for the past couple of months have this problem where my xbox shut down for no reason, at no specific time. I asked a bunch of people from the xbox community, and they gave me tips, but it still only runs for about 5 mins.
and then it shuts off again, my family sent in to xbox headquaters to fix it they sent it back 3 weeks later, but it was still the same. Going off after 5 mins. Then my dad called someone to get more advice, they said to turn energy saver on in settings, now
the xbox goes for about an hour, but it still shuts off. I would very much be happy to take some more advice.

Can you please try following the
Xbox One turns off unexpectedly support guide to see it this helps you work out what is happening with your console. If it does turn out to be an issue with the console and it requires repairing then as you have only just purchased it I would try taking
it back to where you purchased it from and ask them to exchange it for you or alternately you could

send your console to be serviced.
