    Xbox one s resetting update progress


    My Xbox one s needed a 4 gigabyte update, and since my internet is slow I left it for an hour or two, an when I came back, the progress on the update has reset and it is asking me to download the same 4 gigabyte update again, except now the resolution is very low, how do I fix this issue of my Xbox resetting the update progress?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    You may need to perform a powercycle on your console to fix the issue.

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work, if you can connect your console to a different network that would be great.

    I have an Xbox One S it started after I tried to download WWE2K22 but it kept stopping even though I had more than enough space to download it then my Xbox One S told me I need to do some type of reset so I followed the instructions that the console provided after the reset everything had to be reinstalled but my all my progress was saved the only thing is now my virtual keyboard will not appear I can't input any text

    Same problem on the Xbox one s, tried the troubleshooter and resetting the console, didn't help...

    Can it be a corrupted update?

    If not what should I do?
