Xbox One S randomly switched to a different game all by itself?

Alright so i gameshare with my friends which are in the same household as i am. I set my xbox as home console on his account to play games however the next day it removed itself randomly as home console and i had to waste a switch in doing this. It did this again and again until i used up all my switches. After awhile i got a additional switch from xhox assist and the next day it randomly removed itself again. What is happening and can i possibly get one more switch ?

Have you asked your friend if he had tried setting a different friends Xbox as their home console? If so, doing so would remove your Xbox as their home console.

I have heard of this issue before on other games as well but those have been patched, It's likely just the part of the game but giving this false Overheating warning. have you tried contacting the game devs on it in case, there is a issue with game since
there is 2 different settings for xbox one X and xbox one s game settings causing the console itself to crash giving this false over heat switch off.

All versions of the One actually run the same. The One X performs better than the regular One or One S, but there are no different versions of the X itself.

If it's xbox one games then it's a glitch that randomly affects people from time to time.

No one knows why it happens but it should just correct itself eventually.

Can't give a timeframe as it corrects itself within different times for different people.

When it happened to me i lost over 200k gs but it returned back to normal within 4 or 5 days but other people have had to wait over 2 weeks.

I tried many different HDMI cables. As the switches all do not produce any feedback or buzzing when connected directly to the Xbox-Monitor, I do not believe it can possibly be the cables.

I have also tried two different switches. Both switches produced the same result. The switches are also different (brand and type of switch).

I'm thinking it has to do with the console itself.
