Xbox One S questions

I’m coming from the original Xbox generation so a bit suprised that this console doesn’t come with any owners manual, basically just one sheet ... how to plug it in.

The other issue is, I used to get a game play manual in hard print with every game to get started, now all you get is a 16 digit install code then your on your own?

Where can you access this information? Really thought there would be an area like “how to play this game” lol.

Bundled with my Xbox came Forsa Horizion 4. I like racing SIMS but I just race around in circles enjoying the views. This really is a game. There is nothing technically rewarding at all. You get points for damaging property? Don't know, don’t have the manual.
Lol. Project Gotham Racing trumps this any day. It was real.

Also tried to install Minecraft. Actually installed it but it says needs an update but it’s not going anywhere. Once you buy the game do you need to purchase mine coins or something just to play? Geeze.

i wanted to rebuy a Xbox One S, the seller told me that the Xbox One S is (6 Month´s old).

My question: Is there a way, how i can check the warranty status of the xbox one S with the Serialnumber?

Hi, the days of printed user manuals for consoles and games are long gone as they're all available online in some form or another

Xbox One : Console

A lot of games have a manual of sorts built into the game or available from the website of that game.

Forza Horizon is an open world game whereas if you're more into pure racing then Forza Motorsport would be a better choice as that's purely track racing. There are of course other Sim racing games such as Assetto Corsa.

As for minecraft that could be another matter, there is a version of Minecraft named Minecaft Xbox One edition, that is now an older version of the game which has been replaced by Minecraft Better Together, that would mean purchasing the game again as the
offer to upgrade from the Xbox One edition is no longer available.

Welcome back to Xbox! I'm with you, Project Gotham Racing 2 was my childhood, but Forza Horizon 4 isn't too shabby either (especially those graphics). Minecraft is pretty much virtual leggos; simple yet extremely addicting. Since you are an OG like myself,
here's a list of our
backwards compatible catalog. All these games are from the OG Xbox and Xbox 360 and like the name implies, they are playable on your brand new console. Awesome, I know.

 

Thanks XBX Lance J. Yeah the graphics are nice but I see it as just a smash em up up kind of game with no consequences. Not reality. EggsBoxJuan suggestion of Forza Motorsports worked for me. That was exactly what I was looking for on this platform to fill
in for Project Gotham Racing void.

That's a kewel list of backwords compatible games. I'll have to check what may apply! Maybe just quicker to plug them in and see what happens.
