    xbox one s problems.


    in the past couple of hours my xbox one s has apparently crashed on me, attempting to troubleshoot and reset it isn't working.

    i've tried doing the manual update option but the system will not recognize the usb device i'm using either.

    I was informed that getting something that was 3.0 with 256 GB was necessary as anything lower would not be recognized, but even though i've installed the manual update to the new drive I just bought from wal-mart (which is a 2 TB unit) the system is still
    not showing the usb drive as being in the system.

    i've had this system since the beginning of 2018, can you help me out here?

    power saving mode boot question

    Microsoft rep had me plug directly in the wall and the system boots normal. I previously had the Xbox One S plug into the monster surge protector strip with my TV. That was the problem. Microsoft rep told me that the Xbox Box One S has a built in surge protector.
    I going to use the Xbox One S today and if the problem does not return I will keep the Xbox One S. The Microsoft rep told me to exchange if the problem does return. Thank you for the help.
