    Xbox One S Problems


    Hi people of the forums,

    Recently my Xbox One S has been randomly turning off, as if the plug has been pulled. It can happen 5 hours after i turn it on or 5 seconds, I have cleared an open shelf with about 50cm each direction for air flow, I bought a brand new plug just to make
    sure it wasn't that.

    I have zero clue what could be causing it, but it seems like a power supply issue, and from that I have two questions:

    1. Is it fixable by me personally and

    2. How much would it cost to fix it?

    Any info or diagnosis of my Xbox's condition would be extremely helpful.

    power saving mode boot question

    Microsoft rep had me plug directly in the wall and the system boots normal. I previously had the Xbox One S plug into the monster surge protector strip with my TV. That was the problem. Microsoft rep told me that the Xbox Box One S has a built in surge protector.
    I going to use the Xbox One S today and if the problem does not return I will keep the Xbox One S. The Microsoft rep told me to exchange if the problem does return. Thank you for the help.
