Xbox One S Party Bug

I recently got an Xbox One S for Christmas and it was working GREAT. I was able to join parties on the FIRST invite but now, it requires 2 invites. The first invite will say "Party encountered an error" or "Something went wrong" with an error code but
with the second invite it works. I know im not the only one with this issue because my cousin has an xbox one s and it does the same thing. So does my friends on xbox they have the exact issue. Please tell me how to fix this because i've reset my xbox, troubleshooted
my internet, and everything else and it still doesn't work.

When did this started happen?

I'm asking cause since yesterday we are having some difficulties with Xbox Live service, and it is possible that is the root cause for this issue you are describing.

Sorry to hear about the party issues. Just to make sure we have not missed any troubleshooting steps, I recommend trying a few to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a shot:

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord and unplug your router/modem/gateway.
Wait 5 minutes and plug in your console and router/modem/gateway.
Power on your console and join a party session to see if you are experiencing the same issue.
