Xbox One S only working on Low Resolution

Hello forum I am seeking help because one morning my xbox one s would not give any signal to my projector, everything was working fine the night before ( two days ago). The only way I am able to get a signal is by connecting through VGA with a HDMI adapter
and restarting the device on low resolution mode ( using the VGA because the projector will not read that low of a resolution though HDMI). I have tried all the trouble shooting steps I can find, switching from auto detect to HDMI, changed HDMI cables, reset
the xbox keeping games and apps, even reset it deleting games and apps ( not looking forward to downloading everything again, other devices work and the HDCP works with other devices on the same projector. I called Xbox Support and they made me do the same
steps. I reset factory settings on the projector, contacted the manufacturer to see for a firmware update but the same issue happens with my VGA display on which I used to be able to set 720P.

I've seen older threads with this issue dating back to 2015 and tried everything they proposed.

The video shows me how to reboot in low resolution which I am able to do but I cannot get a higher resolution afterwards...

The video should help since this is a very old issue but may be new to you. Please let us know this has helped your issue

Hi BirdSwag.

Techinical problems might have a lot of reasons to happen. In this case I would recommend trying to use the provided HDMI cable to connect your Xbox to your TV. Have you considered changing the HDMI Input that you're using?

I would try contacting support if you can provide pictures or a video of it so they can see it and understand whats happening a little better
