    Hi Ive got a brand new xbox one s that I cannot use as it stops at the update screen. Ive been advised to try an offline download. Could anyone help me with a link please?

    Game save transfers to Xbox One S or Scorpio

    Saves are automatically sync'ed between systems, if you buy an xbox one s it would be like playing on an xbox one. You won't notice a difference in how games access save files, plug in the new system and download your profile. Boot up a game and wait while
    the game syncs, your save data will then be available offline as well.

    Every time you see the sync your system is sync'ing your offline save with your cloud save, and it will work the same on S and Scorpio.

    So, your One S reads all of the 360's discs but your One X don't?

    It might be some issue indeed with your disc reader of the console. Try to offline update it and try again:

    In the link above go to the tab: "Download OSU1 System Offline Update File"

    If your console is the Original Xbox One:

    Important! For Build 6.2.9781.0, use the OSU3 Offline System Update file. For all other builds, use the OSU2 file.

    Go to the tab: "Download offline update file from OSU2 or OSU3 system"
