    Xbox one s not working properly


    I have a Xbox one s devil may cry 5 edition. i have been having a problem for last 3 months where the console turns on, is detected by the display but when I change the input to that, it shows not connect or just a blank grey background . I know none of the hardware is faulty because it sometimes works after i reset it but it only lasts for like 5 mins. even worse after rest or after i leave a game for download it just freezes and is unresponsive and i can do nothing but switch it off but the problem continues. i really need help

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues as well.

    Also, please try using a different HDMI cable or a different TV to test it out.

    Smwutches, it does work for One S, I used the Battlefield 1 One S 500GB bundle and it allowed a game for free. (FYI)
    Glad it worked for you! I knew something wasn't working properly. They tried telling me the free game its talking about is the ones in the bundle..
