Xbox one s isnt working

Thank you for your help. But even going to the troubleshoot it would stop at 50%. I think it is an infinite update problem. even though my wifi is slow its not the problem. I would really like to know whats going on.

I would suggest setting up a call back from an Xbox Live support agent by following the steps below. The agent would be able to look into your account, register your device, troubleshoot your console and give you your repair options and prices.

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Hello EnrikeHC,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your console is having issues with turning off, turning on and freezing. Are you able to access the settings of the console? There is a known issue with system updates that causes the console
to take a long time to turn on. This could also be causing the console to freeze. We suggest completinga soft factory reset. This type
of factory reset will keep all games and applications installed, but it will remove all profiles from the console. Therefore, the email address and password for those accounts must be known before this step is take. If you are not able to access the settings,
we will provide steps on how to access the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. The Xbox Startup Troubleshooter will give you the option to do a soft factory reset. Be sure to let us know the results!

How to access the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
   Note The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition does not have an
   EJECT button. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the
   BIND button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button .
   
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

As I said- we changed consoles and its doing it on the next console to. So it isnt consoles. We however did what you suggested anyway and no it didnt work.

We even went and got a whole new head set. Still doing it.

He signed in on my account and I used his and it did it to my acct (so his xbox not mine) so it isnt his actual account.

So far weve worked out

- isnt the head set, we tried multiple and does it to all

- is doing it to both his xbox one x and xbox one s. Both these xboxs are updated etc

- the series x is working fine

- it isnt specifically his acct as it does it to my acct when he signs in on the one x and one s

- it isnt game related. E.g. does it on main screens to
