    Xbox one s headset stoped working


    turtle beach xbox recon 50x headset plugged into xbox one s controller and no sound output or mic input headset working fine for the past 2 days and verifyed still working good and mic works with macbook. I have reset everything multiple times signed out
    of every thing and still the same results someone please help!

    Hi Josh,

    Is the mute icon at the top right of your dashboard always displayed as muted when connected or not connected?

    If so then that is currently a know issue the engineering team is investigating working on a solution as this seems to be happening on many third part headsets connecting through 3.5 mm audio input.

    Please bear with us until an update is know.

    Mute icon is always displayed ( mic with line through it ) I was assuming the headset is not an "off breed" it is a turtle beach XBOX recon50x. Starting parties and testing in all aspects of the xbox nothing changes the icon and under settings the volume
    and mute buttons are "greyed out" and not accessible.

    Hi Josh,

    Does your headset plug in using the 3.5 mm audio jack?

    It's likely your software has been affected by this bug that is currently being investigated and worked on by the engineering team. The issue has been acknowledged but not sure when the issue will be resolved.

    In the meantime, I suggest a soft factory to your console just to see if that helps.
