xbox one s having issues

My xbox one s starting having a bunch of problems last night, until then it was working perfectly.

here are the problems i have noticed:

- when i try to open any game or app, and even some settings pages (network settings) it tells me “(insert app) has taken too long to load”

- will not let me pause/cancel updates

- will not let me uninstall games

- will not restart or full shutdown through settings

- controller only connects properly sometimes

i have tried hard resetting multiple times, ive tried just unplugging it and plugging it back in, leaving it unplugged for a while

if anyone has any idea how to help please respond!

no strange sounds or smells that i have noticed, i will try a factory reset and see if that works

Coild help a factory reset, but i am not sure.

Getting the same issues with my 2 xboxs. Sometimes won't load properly and when it does I can't open any settings or anything. Xbox support aren't much help. Soft reset. Can't do a complete reset as can't access settings menu

Sorry to see any display issues you may be running into! This is definitely weird, and I appreciate you providing the images as they help a lot!

Most display issues with the Xbox One S have been linked back to the TV, but there are a few issues that could be caused by a bad HDMI port on the console.

I'm not sure if you have a 4K TV that you are running into this on, but it may be worth going through our

Troubleshoot 4K and HDR on Xbox One S page as there could be something on there that can help you out. One important thing to note is be sure you are using the HDMI cable that came with the console to prevent any display issues.

If that page doesn't help you out, post back with your TV manufacturer and model number, and we'll see what other troubleshooting we can do to sort this out.
