XBOX ONE S Has to be unplugged to get it to connect to my wireless network

Mister Darcy, thanks for getting back to me. It's been five days now. I cannot try a wired connection, as the Xbox and modem are on different levels of my house, far away from one another. We've tried: restoring factory defaults and re-entering the wireless
network and password; restarting network hardware (unplugging modem and rebooting); unplugging Xbox and re-starting; checking that plugs and cords property connected.

The Xbox is detecting my wireless, and the connection is strong. But it won't connect.

go to the windows store and get the xbox one app...that should get your pc connected ....get xbox live gold and the xbox store has lots of free games and demos and such....booted off your router might mean network issues....xbox one has issues with certain
routers....list your network equipment (modem and router , brand and model #'s ) and if you are wired or wireless...

It’s an Xbox One console and yes it does display my wireless network’s name but it won’t connect with it. No codes or error messages come up. It just says it can’t connect to my wireless network and to try unplugging my router/modem for 30 seconds and
then plug it back in which I have done several times and it still won’t connect.

High packet loss generally is due to networking issues. How is your Xbox One connected to your network, wired or wireless? Also, when you get a chance try a reset of your network connection by unplugging network hardware for 30 seconds and reconnecting.
