    Xbox One S freezing and no signal


    Had an Xbox one S around 2 years and recently I turned it on and there was no signal on the tv. Since then sometimes it comes on fine but then I can’t open anything and it freezes and then other times it does no signal on the tv. I unplugged it for 15 minutes then after turning it back on it works for a little bit but then the problem reoccurs. I’ve tried a reset keeping games and apps and tried on a different tv and a different hdmi cable. Was wondering if anyone has had any similar issues or could help me

    HDMI passthrough freezes (dropouts?)

    Having the same issue. Worked for a few days when I first plugged it in, but the last few days the TV signal will freeze up. No freeze on the xbox one dashboard. Unplugged my cable box from the xbox till this gets fixed.

    Just tested two other controllers still very poor signal. Conclusion or my console i faulty or xbox one have s..t signal range overall which would not be very good news

    I am having this same issue since a recent xbox one update. Tv signal just freezes every so often and occasionally I see a message about my tv not being able to play DHCP content. but if i don't route my tv signal through my xbox then it works fine. hopper

    it seems to be an issue on many different tv models so it's definitely an Xbox one S firmware problem not receiving the HDR signal correctly
