Xbox One S - Flickering Light Closing Applications

Hi there!

I've had an Xbox One S for a few years now and it just started being unable to launch games without showing the title screen, maybe loading one or two of the developer "credits" and then crashing. I just noticed that when this happens, the white lit up Xbox logo will flash twice, turn off, then comes back on when the application has closed itself.

At first, I thought it was the game (as Halo Infinite has some issues) but now it's doing it with others too. I've recently uninstalled/reinstalled these games and same issues. I've also done a console reset in the last month or so for an achievement (that never popped) so I don't think it has to do with that...?

Not sure if this is an "end of life" sad day where I need to upgrade, but I figured I'd ask the internet before giving up.

Please try this process:

Turn off the console and disconnect the power cord to make sure the console is completely off.

Plug it back in.

Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button at the same time, then press the power button on the console.

Continue pressing the Pair button and Eject button for 10 to 15 seconds.

You will hear two "power on" tones after a few seconds.

You can release the Pair button and Eject button after the second power-up tone.

This will take you to the troubleshooter, there you will need to reset the console, you can choose the option to keep games and applications.

yeah, I don't have much of a choice. the Kinect 2.0 blasts a wall of ir light for reading, the Kinect 1.0 blasts a wall of dots for reading.

The Kinect 2.0's ir is constantly flickering and the flickering matches the rumbling blasts intervals when I use the headset.

I dot think there could ever be a solution.

im able to see the ir light using the night vision on my camcorder .

Update: if i push in the xbox button on the controller, it will dimly light up and flicker.
