Xbox One S fan really loud.

Just make sure its well ventalated, also clean the vents regularly.

I bought mine about 10 months ago and since two or three weeks its fan is a bit loud. Nothing similar to the old 360, but i can easily hear the air coming out. I would say it is ‘a bit loud’ not really as you stated.

Mine too is in an open space: i think they are defective from the buildng? I bought mine in super sale and it was brand new, but i have always had the feeling something was not completely right, cause since the beginning did some noise, while my old x one
started producing noise after 3-4 years of heavy usage.

I would like to open it and see if it has something on its vent, it is not that hard, but of course it will invalidate the warranty (which expired some months ago yet).

I am ok with the little sound, cause it was really cheap, and i do not think there is something we can do.

Is it in a open space . You can get a can of compressed air give the vents a clean .

If it's not shut down through heat then it's doing its job

Some games you play can also make the fan run fast . 👍
