    Xbox one s Digital won’t boot


    My Xbox one s digital console won’t start up. I cannot access the troubleshooting menu as there is no eject button. After pressing the Xbox button the sound will play and the light will only turn on 50% of the time. Around 10 seconds later the console then plays the ‘off’ sound. We have tried plugging in the power supply to the wall with no changes.

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Could you please try the steps below to see if you can access the Xbox Troubleshooter page? I understand you've attempted this before, and while your console might not have an EJECT button, the key is to press and hold the SYNC/BIND button. Please follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the console by pressing the power button within 10-15 seconds

    2. Wait for 60 seconds

    3. Make sure to press and hold the SYNC/BIND button (located below the power button), then press the power button on the console to turn it on.

    Make sure to keep holding the button until the Xbox Troubleshooter page appears. This screen should show Offline Update, Continue and Reset. If you ever see this page, select Reset > Then Keep Games and Apps, and if it still won't boot, choose the Remove Everything.

    As it would also be digital only

    There are two versions of the xbox one s

    Digital only and disc version disk version is the plainly labeled xbox one s

    Hi Ricardo,

    I have tried all the steps in the troubleshooting guide via Xbox support.

    Unfortunately your method won’t work as my console is an Xbox Series S, not an Xbox One S hence there is no eject button as the console is digital only. You clearly have not read my question fully before answering.

    I have now booked a visit to the Microsoft store in regent st, and will take my console in to have a technician look at it.
