Xbox one s defualt controller problems

My controllers left joy stick is hyper sensitive and drifts occasionally, my bumbers are also hyper sensitive when i press them. For example when I attempte to scroll the home screen it goes five pages further then it should off. My controller also does
this in games. How do I fix this?

Update xbox wireless controller support has steps to help resolve this issue.

USB method is my preference and make sure to do it on all controllers.

Same problem here.. Xb1 S controller randomly disconnects, original xbox one controller has no issues with xb1 S console...

I had the same problem but I sent a series s controller and I got a one s controller in return, and the series s controller I sent came with my Xbox, brand new

There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

factory reset Xbox one x and problem still there. Played on Xbox one s and no problems with any controllers. Taking Xbox one x back and sticking with. Thanks for everyone's help. Please close the thread
