Xbox one s corrupted.

It seems like after we purchased the final map on advanced warfare zombies our xbox one a became corrupted. There are now what seems like zalgo lettering. We have tried doing a hard reset and erasing everything off of the console. Upon reboot we choose to
not keep old profile settings and to start fresh. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? The picture is just a small example. As you navigate the screens it is sometimes worse and sometimes not there. As well while playing advanced warfare zombies a green
beam was appearing in a certain spot on the map when going to it, it then became a blinding green spot to where you couldn't see the game. It then began to spread to more parts of the map while playing.

which xbox is it, if xbox one or one s then could be the hdd is corrupted or failing, full factory reset might be needed again or repair.

No we haven't. It did an online one no problem though.

I notice you said that you erased everything and tried starting fresh, but I’m wondering if simply reinstalling the game or reinstalling JUST the DLC will solve this issue.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

The cryptic lettering is throughout the console and green beam is in every game and YouTube even.
