    Xbox One S controller wont stay connected!


    I have been using my xbox one s for a few years and this is the first time I have ever stumbled across an annoying issue involving my controller. This has happened for 2 days now and 4 days ago the same issue happened but it randomly started working again. When I hold my power button on the controller it just blinks once very quickly and turns off, but when I hold on it, it blinks 3 times and on the third blink I can access the xbox but I have to hold on the xbox controller power button for it to work then it would just turn off soon after. Please give me a solution to this as I have tried everything to solve it by using youtube videos and other forums, I have switched the batteries out (rechargeable batteries), hard reset my xbox alot of times, used a USB cable (the controller wont turn on using a USB cable either), my controller is up to date.

    Please get back to me as fast as you can because I cant stand this anymore!

    Edit: It just turned on but for a second then turned off again. :/

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

    I assume, you've tried this exact step, correct?

    Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

    I reset the console and I have set it up using the xbox app but I have got to the stage where I have to connect my controller to the console and even still, the controller does not work. Now i'm convinced the issue here is the controller and I may have to buy a new one.

    The only way I can use the controller is by holding the home button and not let go of it as mentioned in the first post.
