    Hi,

    Yesterday I noticed that my controller would drop bluetooth connection in games, the drop would last a few seconds or longer, even reconnected a couple of times. However today I tried to re-pair it hoping it would fix the issue, yet it didn't. Changed battery,
    checked for updates via Xbox Acc. app nothing works.

    The device seems to pair up, however it just keeps on blinking and not working. It's paired but doesn't seem to connect.

    Any advice?

    You can't, unfortunately.

    The Xbox One S controller's bluetooth function was mainly designed for Windows 10 PC users, as Windows 10 (with the Anniversary update) has the necessary drivers to properly interface with the controller, most likely to coincide with the recent "Play Anywhere"
    feature for Xbox One.

    With that in mind, Microsoft did not release bluetooth controller drivers for other platforms, so there is no official support of the Xbox One S controller outside of Windows 10.

    I'm pretty sure the Bluetooth function of the controller is not to pair with the console, but rather a Windows 10 PC, or Windows 10 Mobile Phone (yes its confirmed). I am under the assumption the Xbox One S will not have Bluetooth, otherwise the Xbox One
    S would just be a Bluetooth controller.

    The Series S and X controllers work on same devices the earlier controller can connect to. This includes:

    Xbox One Game receiver for Windows 10

    Bluetooth (PC, Android, iOS)

    Xbox One, One S, X and Series X/S.

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.
