    Xbox one s controller keeps scrolling down.


    Hey!

    So my Xbox one s controller started scrolling down after it made contact with water. I have tried to dry it. (kept it in a warm place for a while and tried to blow the water out). Still not working. Any ideas?... still scrolling down.

    Xbox One keeps constantly scrolling down

    My xbox one s keeps scrolling down to the bottom of the home screen and even on games and apps. It doesn’t start scrolling down until I try to press a button on the control even if the control is already on prior to pressing a button

    Autoscrolling issue!!!

    All of the time, my Xbox has my right analog stick pressed down and I say my Xbox because it doesn’t matter what controller I use, it keeps scrolling and it even makes some games unplayable.

    Hi

    If you have removed the batteries from the controller and allowed it to fully dry out for a few days and you are still experiencing the same issue then you will need to either
    send the controller to be serviced of purchase a replacement.

    If you actually went into a game, for example, Call of Duty, would your character start looking down at the ground? Or does it only happen on the home screen?

    BROOOOOOOOOOOOO i got it to work. After i factory reset the xbox with my controller plugged in in went back to normal!

    It sounds like it could be your controller, I would try and use a different controller to see if that is actually what's wrong with it. If it is, your best bet is to try and exchange your controller if you have a warranty on it. Or look into ways to fix
    controller drifting, but be careful because you could mess up your controller even more.

    yo this actually worked. It only worked when i factory reset the xbox with my controller plugged in. I was about to buy a new one thanks!
