Xbox one s controller dosent pair well with android phone

When I try to pair my xbox controller with my android phone it Works ... THE FIRST TIME. After I pair it the first time it just won't connect again and I have to do the tiddious task of reseting my network, Bluetooth and something else to get it to pair
again. If there's a soft ware update to fix it but I'm pretty sure my controllers software is up to date.

    :)

    One S Controller & Android/ Ouya

    Hi All,

Recently purchased my One S, which I am very very happy with, but wondered how the new BT controller would go when pairing to a Android device - in particular my Ouya console.

I was able to find and pair the controller, but no matter what I tried, the controller would not 'connect' to the console.

Has anyone had any luck pairing the controllers to an Android device? Or is it strictly W10 PC's that the controller will pair and connect with?

    Cheers

Why won't my controller pair with my Phone?

Hello Braden S! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

You are unable to pair a Xbox 360 controller to an Android phone as the 360 does not use bluetooth but their own wireless protocol. You would need a wired Xbox 360 controller to connect to phone.

How to connect a controller to mobile android

yes you can connect an Xbox One S/X controller to an android device as long as the android device supports controllers. I know you can do this as I have connected mine to my android device (Amazon fire 10), and it works well. All you have to do is turn
on bluetooth on your device, and go in bluetooth settings and select scan for new device, then with the xbox one s controller, turn it on, and press and hold the sync button until the light on the controller flashes quickly. Your device should find the controller
    and pair them together.

    Xbox and Android

Hello viktorsigosins, for Android, you need to check your phone manufacturer and Android version to see if it is compatible with controllers or not. For your second question: yes, you can use Xbox One controller on S and X model as well.

    hope it helps,

    best regards
