xbox one s console

Xbox one S cannot connect to Xbox live unless I unplug the network cable from the modem for 30 seconds, is there anyway to fix this?

To unplug the modem works but I always have to do this I would like to be able to connect without having to do this each time, is there a way around always unplugging the modem to connect live?

 

oh and I have it on an Ethernet connection

Since you're running on a wired connection, have you tried a different ethernet cable? Also, have you tried connecting via Wi-Fi to see if the issue persists even wireless?

I was originally running on wifi and bought a brand new cable a 6 cant remember the other term 6 something higher cable.

 

I was told by this site that my modem is not recognize the box so going to call my service provider to fix it.
