Xbox one s connection with Bluetooth soundbar

is the soundbar bluetooth i dont think xbox supports bluetooth connections

As another Ambassador stated unfortunately the Xbox One, S, and X are not capable of this however I'm REALLY hoping the next Gen Scarlet will have this feature

For myself I find the best way to hook up a soundbar to an Xbox console is through the Digital Audio input.

Unfortunately the Xbox One console does not support Bluetooth connectivity in any form, so what you are asking for is not possible. You would need to plug in your console to the projector using an HDMI connection.

There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

I have both my console and soundbar plugged into my TV. My Xbox One S is connected to HDMI 1 and my soundbar is connected to HDMI 2 (ARC). It's the recommended setup.

It's also the exact same setup as before with my old Xbox One.

Again, with this setup I am not able to get surround sound on the S, which didn't happen with the non-S.
