XBox One S cannot connect to Samsung TV Neo QLED (QN95B) - no signal!

Hi all,

I had this problem also with my rather old Samsung TV (it was from 2009 or so), but I now have a new one (Samsung QN95B Neo QLED) and also here I'm not able to connect my XBox One S with the TV. I of course checked all HDMI Slots, different cables (also new ones) and I started the XBox in low resolution mode (with 10secs XBox + Pair button for startup) - I always get no signal.

I tried with a PC monitor, here at least it was possible with low resolution to start it.... so I could update the XBox with the latest firmware.

Also the new TV has the latest updates....

Does anyone have an additional idea what to do?

Hello!

Hope you are well. I'll be glad to help you, just remember that you're not talking to a Microsoft employee.

If you manage to get an image from a PC monitor, go to Settings > General > TV & display options > Video Fidelity & Overscan

Verify that the "Automatically detect" option is selected.

If from the PC monitor you can only see the troubleshooter, try to perform an offline reset of the console following the information here:

If none of these options work, you will need to seek technical assistance locally, as it could be a hardware problem. Unfortunately Microsoft no longer services Xbox One consoles.

i got myself a toshiba fire tv but plan on upgrading to a samsung QLED 4k tv for next gen

I have a QLED and OLED tv's in my house and LG OLED looks awesome but with gaming you can get a lot of burning thats why I game on my One X in the Samsung QLED the most because for gaming has been a lot better

I bought the xbox x and connected it to my old samsung tv and it worked great. I bought a new samsung qled tv for Christmas and hooked it up. The tv is so smart it recognized the xbox and loaded it onto tv. I tried to play a game from the console but it doesn't allow me to access it. I can only get what you call cloud gaming. Is there a way to play directly to tv like before. Thanks for your help.
