Xbox One S can only read 1 game. Will not recognize other discs

So yesterday my xbox one s worked fine. Played cyberpunk and battlefield V, disc's read fine.

Today, I take out cyberpunk to play Raid. Raid doesn't read. No damaged disc error. Nothing. Just some movement from the disc drive to no avail. I pop cyberpunk in and it reads and run fine. I pop back in Raid. Nada. I try Sekiro. Nada.

I try Cyberpunk again. Reads and runs fine. Again. Waaat

I try and tried everything. Reset console, etc. Clear cache. Hard reboot. Clear persistent data, etc. Nothing works. But cyberpunk disc does work.

Why does my xbox one only run Cyberpunk and no other disc's? No eject option for a faulty disc, nothing.

Hello again, if you've already done the two resets and it still doesn't read the discs, it could really be something in the hardware of the console.

Unfortunately, as this model and the One X have already been discontinued by Microsoft, it no longer has Microsoft's paid repair service.

Hello Spookysober, you mention that you already tried a reset on the console, did you do the reset that keeps games and Apps or did you do the factory reset that erases everything?

I reset it both ways. I tried again now and all the disc's worked except Raid and some others.

At least you've actually managed to get into the game, my xbox can't recognize or read my halo 4 disc off the dash, whereas it'll read and recognize every other game I own! D:<

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with the Xbox One S not reading discs. I recommend to try the following article: How
to troubleshoot problems playing a disc on your Xbox One.

Try the following solutions on the article if none of your discs will play, or if you insert a disc and your console doesn't recognize it. If your Xbox Home screen tells you to insert a disc when a disc is already inserted, that means it doesn't recognize
your disc. In these scenarios, there are two possible issues:

The settings for instant-on power mode can render a small number of consoles unable to read discs.
The console's disc drive needs servicing.

Give this a try and let us know the results.
