xbox one s can i use my pc monitor like a tv

You may run into an issue with audio. Most monitors dont have speakers but some do. I have a monitor with a line out that I run to a USB speaker. The HDMI carries audio from the Xbox to the monitor and then the line out cord carries it to the speaker.
The other option is a head set for audio.

Thanks for coming to the forums. There are ways to hook your console up to a PC monitor. IF it has an HDMI hookup can go straight from console to monitor. IF monitor has VGA hook up, you will need an adapter that goes from HDMI to VGA. You can purchase
these almost anywhere lowest I seen around $8.00 USD and up.

If your PC monitor has HDMI input yes you could use that as a screen for your xbox. If not you could set up streaming to windows 10 xbox app and stream your xbox to the app

I find my xbox one s working while set on dvi and 640p resolution. But no display on 1080p and hdmi.

Just to add i am using samsung smart 3d tv aand also tested my xbox one s on 2 other displays.. one pc monitor and one more smart tv
