Xbox one S Bricked because i got insider build without being enrolled

If you're enrolled in the Insider Program and the console is registered, you will still get the insider updates. I would recommend logging in or "signing up" for the program to check the app to verify that your console is in the enrollment that you want,
be that in a release ring, or not registered for an insider build. You can have the app and be an insider without having an early release build ring assigned, and is great for providing feedback to the team when you encounter an error regardless if you're
on an insider build or not.

So I would say yes, especially to check that it is configured in the enrollment you want.

Has your son enrolled his console into the Xbox Insider Preview or is it a pre-owned console? I ask because there is a known issue regarding headsets in the Insider Preview build.

Is her One S enrolled in the Insider Program? She may not be but if the console was pre owned by someone who is in the insider program and the avatar beta app is installed, she will have it.

Xbox One original, Xbox One S and Xbox One X all can install the avatar beta app, it is not console specific. Check the Insider Hub App and enroll if it shows up for your ring.

I'm sorry to hear that the issue persists even after numerous hard resets, power cycles, and soft factory resets. You mentioned that it seems to only occur through the Microsoft App on the Xbox, so by any chance is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider
program? If it is, then a recent preview update build could be causing this error.

I have seen other threads with similar issues with Games with Gold on the Xbox with that same error code and we are monitoring the forums for any more threads like this one. It may be isolated by region because I just checked the Games with Gold section
on the Microsoft Store on an Xbox One S updated with the normal public system build and all three games display properly with the Deals with Gold games directly below.

Let us know if you are enrolled in the insider's program or not.

Found out the One S is still in beta, my son must have enrolled it then deleted the app, I'm an insider now and got the update a couple of hours ago
