Xbox one s auto scrolling to the right

So basically i was playing payday 2 where you hold down rb quite often, after closing the game the xbox acted as if i was still holding down rb, i have factory reset it multiple times and my rb button is not stuck, i have even taken the controller apart
and it is fine but it still keeps scrolling

Do you have another controller to see if the issue persists on that one? I've had a similar issue with Overwatch, where, for some reason, at the character select screen there is one, only one, controller I have, will act like I'm pressing RB and continue
to scroll through the characters and not stop. It's very weird. Never was able to diagnose what is causing it other than swapping to another controller which works just fine. I had chalked it up to my kids being kids with it.

if you turn the xbox on without the controller being powered on does the xbox still scroll? that should tell you if its the controller or an issue with your console.

Try go in Settings > System > Kinect & Devices > controller and take reconfiguration

When you took it apart did you clean it all? If not clean it with surgical spirits / alcohol let it dry and put it back together.

Hopefully someone maybe has a different answer but from past post on the forums to youtube videos, I looked and it seems just as simple as the button being stuck down and people just opened it up to pop it back up. I know you said you did this but maybe
its worth another shot. If not, hopefully some has another answer! Again, I looked around a bit and only found those answers!
